It’s called vaulted funko pops; when funko decides to no longer produce that specific funko pop. This drives collectors to purchase that funko pop because of how rare it is.

Funko does a great job of identifying which characters to create pops for, and you can always expect to see creative designs. While collectors and the fandom community often speak up about which pops they’d like to see next on their shelves, it comes down to what’s popular in pop culture.

Funko pops can capture beautiful tv moments that give the community a warm feeling inside when glancing upon them. It’s clear that some pops are more popular than others, however, have you realized what makes a funko pop most expensive? 9 out of 10 times it’s due to demand. And funko has a neat way of influencing demand among funko pop collectors.

How do they influence the demand for VAULTED funko pops?

Once a funko pop stops getting created and distributed from Funko, it instantly increases in value. Now there’s less in the market to sell, and those who have them on their shelves are more likely not to give them up anytime soon. The hardest part about collecting vaulted funko pops is finding them. However, you can’t find a vaulted funko pop unless you know which ones are vaulted. This list will give you ten well-known vaulted funko pops that all anime fans crave to have in their collection.

1. Attack on Titan – Eren (Titan Form) Hot Topic Exclusive VAULTED

Attack on Titan Eren Jaeger Rage Vaulted Funko Pop

“I’ll tear you apart. Once my hand heals, I’ll rip you apart. Tear you to shreds. Rip you into tiny pieces…and eat you!” – Eren as a Titan

Eren gives us a constant reminder that victory doesn’t come easy and especially in the world where there are titans. An iconic tv moment for this anime series Attack on Titan is when Eren slams that boulder to plug the hole in Trost. If it wasn’t for Eren’s go-getter attitude and Armin’s brilliant plan, this victory couldn’t have been possible. However, like anything else, this victory couldn’t be celebrated with the amount of loss they experienced.

2. Attack on Titan – Eren Jaeger – VAULTED

Eren Jaegar Vaulted Funko Pop“If You Don’t Fight, You Can’t Win!” – Eren Jaeger

What started as being a vengeful teenager after titans ruin his family, Eren becomes a sophisticated character and a symbol. After finding out he was able to turn into a titan, his reputation becomes the best hope for humanity. Truly an anti-villain that’s worth adding to your collection.

3. Cowboy Bebop – Faye Valentine – VAULTED

Cowboy Bebop Faye Vaulted Funko Pop

“I can’t be stuck in one place for long—it’ll kill me. My whole family’s like that.” – Faye Valentine

Fay is brash, seductive, and overall seen as mysterious. She’s known for speaking what’s on her mind, even if it means she’s argumentive or comes off rude. She’s always looking for a way out of doing the work of a bounty hunter. However, she’s driven by money. Some would call her lazy, and compared to Jet or Spike, and it looks that way. Valentine starts to trust the crew more and more as the season goes, especially as her backstory explains her abandonment issues.

4. Cowboy Bebop Jet BLACK – VAULTED

Jet Black CowBoy Bebop Funko Pop

“Whatever happens, happens.” – Jet Black

Jet Black is a skilled killer, often uses brutal force, and is one tough guy. He’s known for his time in the ISSP (Intra Solar System Police); however, his story takes a drastic turn for the worse when he lost both his arms. After being abandoned by his partner and betrayed, he ends up getting focused to kill his partner. Jet Black’s willingness to never give up makes this character one worth following closely throughout the series.

5. Soul Eater – Maka ALBARN VAULTED

Soul Eater Maka Anime Vaulted Funko Pop

“A sound soul dwells within a sound mind & a sound body.” – Maka Albarn

Maka Albarn has such a positive personality that it’s contagious, while also having a confident approach to life. She puts her mind to anything she wants and goes after it. Her accomplishments and determination make for great entertainment. Even in the first episode, she was counting how many souls she needed. Watching her make progress on her goals is enjoyable. Maka’s soul eater pop is now vaulted and is extremely valuable.

6. Attack on Titan – Mikasa Ackerman VAULTED

Mikasa Ackerman Vaulted Funko Pop

“If I can’t, then I’ll just die. But if I win, I live. Unless I fight, I cannot win.” ― Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa Ackerman has such unconditional love for Eren and makes it known throughout the series. Similar to Levi, she’s powerful and has unmatched skills when it comes to taking down titans. Some could say that she’s cold, emotionless, or distant, which makes sense given her childhood and background story. What’s interesting is that Mikasa wasn’t always like that. Especially when she was a child, she was cheerful and very open-minded. As the Titans took over each wall, Mikasa grew a much harder shell, and it shows. This funko pop does a great job of explaining what she’s like as her older self.

 7. Black Butler – Sebastian VAULTED

Black Butler Sebastian Funko Pop

“Any game becomes boring when it lacks thrills.” – Sebastian Michaelis

Sebastian Michaelis is very much an order taker at the beginning of the series, which makes sense for the role he plays. He can execute his master’s orders without any concern and with extreme accuracy. That makes him such a likable character, his talent in doing what it takes, and his perfectionism. His loyalty to his master and performing whatever is needed, even murder doesn’t go overlooked with fans of this anime. Although, what’s more interesting is his obsession with cats and his more playful side that we get glances at times. If you like this character, this is a funko pop worth getting.

8. Cowboy Bebop Spike Pop VAULTED

Cowboy Bebop Spike Vaulted Funko Pop

“I’m watching a dream I’ll never wake up from.” -Spike Speigel

Spike Speigel has a way of taking nothing seriously and living on the edge while doing it. He’s continuously chasing bounties, which helps him put food on the table with his partner, Jet Black. His time with the Red Dragons as an enforcer makes for some exciting backstories and dialogue in Cowboy Bebop. While his mob days are over, he took pride in what he meant to those in the mob. Such a great main character in an anime that always keeps you on the edge of your seat.

9. Bleach Ichigo VAULTED

ichigo pop

“The difference in ability, what about it? Do you think I should give up just because you’re stronger than me? – Ichigo Kurosaki

Ichigo kurosaki Ichigo Kurosaki is a typical high schooler when his life changed after meeting a soul raper (Rukia) for the first time. As he starts a journey as a substitute soul raper, his priorities shift as he goes to the Soul Society to save Rukia. His firm, determination, and overall well-power (or some would say competitiveness) help him in times of dispersion or need. As someone who was able to see ghosts all his life, it was hard for him to understand if they were ordinary humans or, indeed, spirits And so the soul society gave him a perspective like no other before. If you’re a fan of this anime, then this is a must-have.

10. Dragonball Z – SSGSS Vegeta Blue – Vaulted

Dragonball Z SSGSS Vegeta Blue Vaulted

“I have the power too… To go beyond the legendary Super Saiyan.” – Vegeta Dokkan

Vegeta Dokkan is exceptionally prideful, arrogant, and rude at times. His character development in the Dragon Ball Z series is profound, especially when he meets Goku and Bulma. Often he had no attachment to anyone and was seen as a villain. However, he’s matured a lot since then. There’s no denying that Vegeta has experienced growth in his strength through rigorous training; however, he also grew in overall human qualities. Not to mention, his funko pop is a highly desired pop for collectors.
